How to Live Abundantly
Go outside.
Yes, even now.
Even with the sky full of static
and your heart carrying a thousand unopened emails.
Find a patch of grass
and kneel like a disciple.
Not to pray, exactly—
but to notice.
How the ants still carry on
with their impossible burdens.
How the clover doesn’t care
who is President.
How the wind—God bless it—
refuses to take sides.
Let the sun warm your eyelids.
Let a bird’s chirp interrupt your thoughts.
Let the ache in your spine
remind you that you’re still here—
and isn’t that something?
You don’t need a platform
to be radiant.
You don’t need a five-year plan
to be faithful.
Just hold the world gently.
Tend to your one wild soul.
Be kind to the next stranger.
Laugh, if you can.
And when the evening comes—
which it always does—
walk home slowly
as if you belonged here.
Because you do.
I so love your writing! It reminds me a lot of my own.
